  Proper Slots Etiquette

There are special rules of etiquette for when you're playing slot machines in a casino. If you're planning on playing slots, it's important to know how to behave, so that you won't offend or disturb other players. Sticking to the proper slots etiquette and knowing all the slots myths will help maximize your Slots experience as well as helping to preserve your casino environment, online or off.

Knowing the etiquette rules for slot machines will help you enjoy your visit to the casino as much as possible.

If you're choosing your slot machine, check around the machine, especially on the lever and the seat. If there is a coin cup on the seat, it may be that someone left for a minute and expects to come right back to their place. If so, it's better to move on to another machine.

If you get to a machine, and your card won't go in, there's probably someone else's player card in the machine. Slots2000.com recommends that you take it out, and place it on top of the machine. That way, if the player comes back, they won't have any trouble finding their card.

If you need to go to the bathroom, or to get a drink, it's a good idea to ask a casino worker to watch the machine you're gambling on. Try to be quick, and when you get back, you should give them a tip.

If you see that most of the machines are taken, only take one machine at a time so that everyone will have a chance to play.
