It was recently reported that the U.S.-based slots manufacturing giant International Gaming Technology (IGT) released a new series of slot machines designed after the legendary "Star Wars" saga. The video slots, dubbed "Star Wars: Dark Side," are slated for distribution to casinos across the country this summer.
This new addition to IGT's diverse portfolio of slots terminals, which includes the popular "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine, follows the success of the company's slots series released last year. And, to stay true to the trilogy, the slots manufacturer reportedly plans to release another batch of video slots based on the same theme and dubbed "The Empire Strikes Back" in fall.
IGT's newly-developed slot machines feature 5-reel and 30-line MegaJackpots games where interested players can win up to $1,000,000 instantly. Along with famous characters, such as Darth Vader, slots fans will enjoy special sound effects, as well as footage and dialogues taken from the Star War movies.
