Financial Disclosure Report Reveals $2,700 Slots Win for House Majority Leader
According to a recently publicized financial disclosure report, John Boehner, the current House majority leader and U.S. Representative for the eight congressional district of Ohio, won a $2,700 slots jackpot last year.
Kevin Madden, Boehner's spokesperson, was reported as saying that Boehner won the slots money when he was traveling in Michigan for professional purposes. Madden emphasized that his boss entered the Manistique's Kewadin Casino with the sole purpose of using the facility's restroom. When already inside the gaming venue, he decided to try his luck on a slot machine and unexpectedly hit the aforementioned jackpot.
