Toronto Lady Takes Home Huge Slots Jackpot of Over $3 Million
It was recently reported that a woman gambler hit an astonishing jackpot of more than CAD$3 million playing a slot machine at Casino Niagara, a gaming venue operated in Niagara Falls, Canada. The lucky player requested that her name not be disclosed, and no future plans regarding the slots win have apparently been discussed with the media.
The woman, a resident of Toronto, won the money while playing the Megabucks slots. The machine links several gaming facilities around the province of Ontario to a single progressive jackpot. Thus far, the biggest jackpot ever hit at the Megabucks machine was taken home by a male resident of Toronto, who won over CAD$5.7 million at Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in 2004.
Casino Niagara was introduced to the city of Niagara Falls on December, 1996. The gaming venue generates over CAD$1.3 billion in economic activity annually for the province.
