In an apparent effort to bridge the gap between various random recreational activities, online slots parlor Slotland.com announced that it will sponsor a beginners bowling tournament in the Vancouver, BC, area starting this September. All in all, four bowling alleys will host the “Super Bowl Novice Bowling Tournament” over the two months that it will run.
Upon entering the bowling tournament, contenders will automatically be given a $200 voucher for online slots play at Slotland. Teams that win qualifier tournaments will receive $300 in prize money, and the opportunity to move on to the Super Bowl Championship and vie for the regional title. The champion team will be sponsored by Slotland.com, and receive $300 in online slots vouchers for every player on the team, as well an added $500 grand prize.
Slotland.com is no stranger to sponsoring small-time Canadian sporting events. Last winter, the online slots site gave its financial backing to a Canadian curling team with an Olympic dream.
