A resident of Needle, California, recently broke the world record by hitting the MegaJackpot of nearly $3-million, while playing the Twilight Zone Video Slots, at the AVI Resort and Casino.
Veteran gambler Shigeko Ide Stein, 61, visited the gaming facility, located in Laughlin, Nevada, three times a week. She was reported as saying that the minute she sat in front of the slot machine, she had a feeling that she’d be a winner.
The winning one-cent slot machine was manufactured by IGT, a leading supplier of slots gaming products. According to IGT, the previous world record of $2.06 was established in the beginning of 2005.
