Indianapolis' Hoosier Lottery Seeks to Run Legal Slots
In efforts to boost to revenues, the Hoosier Lottery, operated in Indianapolis, Indiana, is reportedly examining possibility to run legalized video slots. In order to run video slots, prior authorization is required by the state attorney general.
According to Esther Q. Schneider, lottery executive director, the organization is waiting for the attorney general's say on the matter. Among the questions raised are how they can expand the already existing games, what kind of new games can the lottery offer, etc.
If the lottery is allowed to operate video slot machines, matters would be complicated for businesses that run illegal slots. Since the beginning of the present year, state officials disabled approximately 525 illegal slot machines.
