Police in Barberton, Ohio, Confiscate 63 Slot Machines
The police department in Barberton, Ohio, recently confiscated 63 slot machines from two illegally operating local gaming venues, Magic Money Skill Touch Arcade and Mardi Gras Skilled Games.
According to Barberton police Detective Jerry Antenucci, the investigation regarding the aforementioned slots parlors began already in 2004, when the city residents and business owners began to complain that the neighboring slots casinos harm them.
Although Ohio law prohibits gaming facilities to pay out prizes in cash, the two casinos carried on doing so. The Barberton prosecutor will study both cases and decide whether or not to file criminal lawsuits against the managers of the slots venues.
