Casino Cruise Security Staff Steals from Slots
It was recently reported that three security guards of the Ambassador II, a cruise ship owned by Sterling Casino Lines, stole more than $100,000 from slot machines over a period of approximately five weeks. The security guards were to keep watch on the ship, docked in Port Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida, after the second of the boat's two daily cruises docked.

According to the local sheriff’s office, the men, Clinton Rubains, 22, Michael Bell, 22, residents of Titusville and David Gammon, 24, a resident of Cape Canaveral, neutralized the ship’s security systems and took the cash out of slots, having its locking mechanism deactivated.

The sheriff’s office reportedly added that more than $90,000 was recovered from the thieves’ apartments and vehicles. The guards stated that they spent the slots money on motorcycles, clothes and jewelry.
