Although many gamblers do not consider the addictive elements in slots gambling, Ed Looney, a member of the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, was recently reported to have said that slot machines are the most addictive of all gambling games.
Gamblers often don’t treat slots gaming as hazardous because the bets are low and no real skills are required. However, it is this psychological impression that eventually turns players hopelessly ill in their addiction to slots.
Dr. Rena Nora of Las Vegas, medical director to the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling, reportedly said that there are an increasing number of people whose tendency for addictive activities might result in destructive outcomes.
