The Nevada Supreme Court has reportedly rejected the appeal of Wesley C. Hunsucker, who was convicted for cheating at slot machines in the Ramada Express Hotel and Casino, located in the city of Laughlin. Among the charges against Hunsucker are plotting to commit a fraud while gambling, robbery and ownership of an optical device designed to cheat at slots.
It was the testimony of a surveillance manager at the Ramada Express that determined the Court’s decision. The manger informed the Court that she witnessed Hunsucker in action and actually saw him and another two women cheating.
In spite of the manager's testimony, Hunsucker maintained that he was never really seen with the device. The court, however, argued that the available evidence clearly demonstrates that the accused did employ the device and, therefore, is indeed guilty.
