The Oregon Lottery officials recently added video slot “line games” to other video terminals already existing in about 1,500 facilities, such as casinos, bars and taverns. State gambling representatives were reportedly hopeful that the new slots games will result in revenues totaling $125 million over the next couple of years.
Regular customers at the new slots facilities had different responses to the innovative video slot machines. The manager of El Kiosco, which has already had the line games installed by the Oregon Lottery, was reported as saying that although the first day was relatively slow, many of those who visited his establishment did try out the slots.
All potential profits from the new slots games are designated to finance various state programs such as public education.
