A lawyer accused of fraudulently slots play will likely go unpunished. Andres "Andy" Rappard, a former employee of the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Clark County District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s Office, will probably be exonerated of the slots fraud, in exchange for testimony against his two partners in the crime.
Nonethless, David Stanton, the prosecutor working on Rappard’s case, was reported as saying that there is a valid arrest warrant against Rappard, and for the time being, there is no reason to assume that charges will be dropped.
All three suspects, Rappard, Murphy Joseph Gregoire III and Robby Ray Adams, were accused of crimes, such as theft and deceit in connection with the slots incident. Moreover, security personnel and casino surveillance footage attests to the fact that all three participants were actively involved in the slots cheating venture. According to Adam’s attorney, Keith Brower, the only reason charges against Rappard might be dropped is the fact that he was the first to cooperate with police.
