Slots near Gettysburg, PA Stir Controversy
Several historians are reportedly indignant regarding Chance Enterprises Inc.’s proposal to construct a slots casino resort near the city of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The historians claim that a slots facility would disgrace the memory of thousands of Union and Confederate soldiers who lost their lives in the battle of Gettysburg in July of 1863.

If the proposal is approved, the Gettysburg Resort and Spa will be built to include restaurants, a hotel, an exclusive spa and a slots casino, of course. The aforementioned company plans to develop the slots venue over 42 acres of land, located northeast of Gettysburg, in the vicinity of another future resort, called Gateway Gettysburg.

City officials, such as Gettysburg Mayor William Troxell, were reportedly not actually disturbed by the Gettysburg slots proposal as they doubt that Chance Enterprises will be allowed to start construction.
