Slot machines are putting on new armless vestments
The latest gambling technology in Slot machine industry has literally performed an enforced surgery on the old rugged slots, cutting off their single arms and replacing it with “spin buttons.”
An investment of more than $5 million is projected by Manitoba Lotteries targeting replacement of 400 slot machines at two Winninpeg casinos with the most updated slots gambling technology. Casino bosses adore slot machines especially Vegas-style, also know as Class III machines as opposed to Class II, planted in most of the casinos in Indian reservation. They do differ in a way random patterns are generated on the screen, which ultimately determines wins or losses.
The Lotteries spokeswoman Susan Olynik explained that the need to perform these recreational activities has arisen from the customer’s exposure to new games on the market as most of them do visit Las Vegas or Casino Regina and know what is out there. Therefore, it is important to cater those games to the customers. A request for proposal was already spread to the companies interested in supplying new slots.
